MUMBAI, India, Nov. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202531017972 A) filed by Siksha O Anusandhan, Bhubaneswar, Orissa, on Feb. 28, for 'temperature maintenance device for utensils.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. Prabhat Ku. Sahu.
The application for the patent was published on Nov. 28, under issue no. 48/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A temperature maintenance device for utensils, comprises of a platform 101 positioned on a fixed surface to store with different food items, a user-interface is wirelessly associated with the device for enabling a user to give input commands, a computing unit that processes input commands which activates an imaging unit 102 installed on the platform 101 for capturing images of the utensils, pneumatic pins 103 arranged on platform 101 which extend/retract along sides of the utensil for securely holding the utensils on the platform 101, Peltier units integrated with the platform 101 to heat/cool the platform 101, a pair of C-shaped members 104 installed with the platform 101 via a pair of motorized hinges 105 for tilting the members 104 which covers the utensils, a fingerprint sensor 106 fabricated on platform 101 for enabling the user to feed fingerprints for accessing the utensils."
