MUMBAI, India, Sept. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411012972 A) filed by Chandigarh University; and Chandigarh University Technology Business Incubator, Mohali, Punjab, on Feb. 22, 2024, for 'temperature management system for transformer.'
Inventor(s) include Sushil Kumar.
The application for the patent was published on Sept. 12, under issue no. 37/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A temperature management system for transformer comprises of a temperature sensor for detecting temperature of oil within the tank 2, a GPS (Global Positioning System) module for fetching location of the transformer 1, a first centrifugal pump for transferring heated oil from the tank 2 towards a primary chamber 8, a flow sensor for detecting flow rate of the oil through the pipe 11, a secondary chamber 10, an electronic valve 13 for maintaining same flow of the oil in view of maintaining a constant oil level in the oil tank 2, a second centrifugal pump for pumping the cold oil within the oil tank 2 in view of reducing the temperature of the oil within the oil tank 2, a Peltier unit for cooling down the oil collected within the primary chamber 8, and a third centrifugal pump for pumping cold oil towards the secondary chamber 10."
