MUMBAI, India, July 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517059309 A) filed by Chongqing Le-Mark Technology Co. Ltd., Chongqing, China, on June 20, for 'temperature measurement system and method for temperature control of hot surface igniter.'

Inventor(s) include Leigh, Peter.

The application for the patent was published on July 4, under issue no. 27/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A temperature measurement system for temperature control of a hot surface igniter, comprising a power supply module, configured for supplying power to the hot surface igniter; and further comprising an acquisition module, configured for acquiring a resistance value of the hot surface igniter; and a processing module, preset with a resistance-temperature meter and configured for acquiring a temperature value corresponding to a current resistance value from the preset resistance-temperature meter according to the resistance value. The acquisition module is used for acquiring the resistance value of the hot surface igniter, and the current temperature of the hot surface igniter is obtained by means of the relationship between the resistance and temperature, so that the temperature measurement function is achieved, and the measured temperature is more accurate. Further disclosed is a temperature measurement method for temperature control of the hot surface igniter."

The patent application was internationally filed on May 24, 2023, under International application No.PCT/CN2023/096024.
