MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411018164 A) filed by Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, on March 13, 2024, for 'temporary path construction system.'

The application for the patent was published on Sept. 26, under issue no. 39/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A temporary path construction system for broken bridges, comprising a platform 1 installed with an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 2 for detecting exact location and height of the bridge, a set of telescopically operated rods 3 to extend for lifting the platform 1 up-till the detected height, multiple motorized omnidirectional wheels 4 for maneuvering and horizontally aligning the platform 1 with broken bridge, multiple extendable plate to extend for connecting the broken bridge and road to allow passage of commuters, multiple motorized hinges 6 arranged between platform 1 and plates 5 for rotating and deploying plate 5 parallelly with respect to each other, a pair of ultrasonic sensors for detecting distance of the platform 1 from the bridge, a pair of L-shaped telescopically operated links 7 to extend, and a pair of motorized pin joints for rotating and deploying flaps to prevent entry on the plates 5 and platform 1."
