MUMBAI, India, Nov. 14 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517097216 A) filed by Ntt, Inc., Tokyo, on Oct. 8, for 'terminal device, sharing access point, shared access point, and communication method.'
Inventor(s) include Kishida, Akira; Nagata, Kengo; Asai, Yusuke; and Takatori, Yasushi.
The application for the patent was published on Nov. 14, under issue no. 46/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "This terminal device comprises a sharing access point, a plurality of shared access points, and a terminal device. The terminal device has a plurality of radio signal processing units and a control unit. The plurality of radio signal processing units each transmit radio signals using different channels. The control unit controls connection destinations of the plurality of radio signal processing units. Each radio signal processing unit establishes a wireless link with each shared access point. On the basis of a notification from the sharing access point, the control unit controls the connection destination of each of the radio signal processing units by, for each radio signal processing unit, enabling a maximum of one of the wireless links for each shared access point and disabling the other wireless links."
