MUMBAI, India, Nov. 14 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517097213 A) filed by Ntt, Inc., Tokyo, on Oct. 8, for 'terminal device, sharing access point, shared access point, and communication method therefor.'
Inventor(s) include Kishida, Akira; Nagata, Kengo; Asai, Yusuke; and Takatori, Yasushi.
The application for the patent was published on Nov. 14, under issue no. 46/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "This terminal device constitutes a communication system with a sharing access point, a shared access point provided at a position apart from the sharing access point, and another shared access point. The terminal device is configured so that: when a first wireless link with the sharing access point via the shared access point is established, switching from the first wireless link is requested of the sharing access point; and, in response to a notification based on a request from the sharing access point to the shared access point and the other shared access point, switching is carried out from the first wireless link to a second wireless link with the sharing access point via the other shared access point."
The patent application was internationally filed on Apr. 12, 2023, under International application No.PCT/JP2023/014918.
