Intellectual Property India Publishes Patent Application for 'Terminal Positioning Method, First Terminal, And Apparatus' Filed by Datang Mobile Communications Equipment Co. Ltd.

MUMBAI, India, Nov. 7 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517094514 A) filed by Datang Mobile Communications Equipment Co. Ltd., Beijing, on Oct. 1, for 'terminal positioning method, first terminal, and apparatus.'

Inventor(s) include Li, Hui; Ren, Xiaotao; Ren, Bin; and Da, Ren.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Provided in the present disclosure are a terminal positioning method, a first terminal, and an apparatus, wherein the method is applied to a first terminal. The method comprises: sending control signaling to a second terminal, wherein the control signaling is used for indicating transmission information of a positioning reference signal which is used in sidelink positioning, and the transmission information is used for positioning a first terminal or the second terminal."
