MUMBAI, India, May 30 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202341073262 A) filed by Lakshmi Machine Works Limited, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, on Oct. 27, 2023, for 'textile ring spinning machine.'

Inventor(s) include Srinivasan Rajasekaran; Jayagopal Dharanipathi; and Venkateswaran Prakash.

The application for the patent was published on May 30, under issue no. 22/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The invention relates to the textile ring spinning machine (1). wherein the spindle gauge (G) and the length (L) of the section are redefined. In each sections the spindle gauge (G) between two adjacent spindles (7) is in the range of 64mm to 66mm, and the length (L) of each section is in the range of 1500mm to 1600mm. By reducing the spindle gauge (G), the number of spindles (7) per unit length is increased, which leads to increased production efficiency. As there are more spindles-(7) in a given length, a higher quantity of yarns can be simultaneously produced."
