According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "This invention investigates the impact of employee engagement on employee performance, with organizational commitment acting as a mediating variable. Using a quantitative research approach, data were collected through structured questionnaires distributed to employees across various sectors. The analysis was conducted using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) via Smart PLS software, which is well-suited for examining complex relationships and mediation effects. Results indicate that employee engagement has a significant positive influence on employee performance, and this relationship is partially mediated by organizational commitment. The findings highlight the critical role of organizational commitment in translating engaged behavior into improved performance outcomes. By utilizing PLS-SEM, the study effectively validates the hypothesized model and provides actionable insights for organizational leaders aiming to enhance workforce productivity. This research contributes to the growing literature on human resource development by emphasizing the strategic value of fostering both engagement and commitment among employees."
