MUMBAI, India, July 11 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511060365 A) filed by Shree Guru Gobind Singh Tricentenary University, Gurugram, Haryana, on June 24, for 'thermo-regulated pain relieving device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A thermo-regulated pain relieving device, comprises of a deformable frame 101 adapted to be around a body part experiencing pain, a reservoir 102 to contain a thermally conductive fluid, a pliable containment structure 103 to hold the thermally conductive fluid, multiple heating elements 104 to heat the containment structure 103 in a zone-wise manner, multiple temperature sensor 105 to detect an instant temperatures of the fluid from different zones, a circulator to circulate the fluid, a display unit 108 to display temperature of the fluid and enable inputting parameters with respect to temperature of the fluid, an analysis module receives inputs regarding medical details from the to automatically determine temperature of fluid in each zone, a sensing unit allows of dynamic adjustment of determine temperature of fluid in each zone and circulation rate based on patient stress tolerance and physiological response."
