MUMBAI, India, Aug. 29 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441012938 A) filed by JAIN, Bangalore, Karnataka, on Feb. 22, 2024, for 'toothpaste transferring device.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. D Ramya Dorai.
The application for the patent was published on Aug. 29, under issue no. 35/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A toothpaste transferring device, comprises of a cylindrical hollow body 1 having a first and second end that is to be accommodated over a toothpaste tube and auxiliary tube, a motorized iris lid 2 for gripping the mouth portion of the tubes, a plate 3 installed with the body 1 via an L-shaped telescopically operated link 4 for positioning a pair of motorized rollers 5 to rotate for squeezing out the toothpaste, motorized sliders 6 incorporated between the plate 3 and the rollers 5, a pair of motorized sliding units 8 for translating a pair of curved-shaped members 7 in order to divert the toothpaste within the auxiliary tube, a speaker 9 for notifying the user to discard the toothpaste when the expiry date of the toothpaste crosses the present date, and an imaging unit 10 for detecting the length of the toothpaste tube."
