MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411019360 A) filed by Sanskriti University, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, on March 15, 2024, for 'tow strap bundle securing device.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. Priyanka Tripathi; and Aishwary Awasthi.
The application for the patent was published on Sept. 26, under issue no. 39/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A tow strap bundle securing device comprises a circular disc 1 developed to be positioned with a bundle of a tow strap in a manner to pass centre of the bundle through a pair of vertical extendable links 2 installed on the disc 1, a microphone 3 is positioned on the disc 1 for enabling a user to give voice commands for securing the bundle, a camera 4 configured on the disc 1 for capturing multiple images of the bundle, a motorized slider 5 configured between the disc 1 and links 2 for translating the links 2 away from each other in view of securely holding the bundle from the centre of the bundle, and a motorized sliding configured between a curved shaped member 6 constructed with extendable plates 7 configured with the disc 1 and disc 1 for translating and positioning the member 6 in proximity to the free-end."
