MUMBAI, India, Sept. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202537084044 A) filed by Huawei Technologies Co. Ltd., Guangdong, China, on Sept. 4, for 'transmission method and apparatus, and device and network.'

Inventor(s) include Zhou, Weiguang; Tan, Lijuan; Gao, Fei; Wang, Xinyuan; Long, Hua; and Liu, Yan.

The application for the patent was published on Sept. 12, under issue no. 37/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Disclosed are a transmission method and apparatus, and a device and a network. The method is applied to the field of communications. A first device and a second device are connected by means of a port. The method comprises: acquiring a message of a first service flow from a receiving buffer area; and transmitting the message of the first service flow by means of a sending buffer area of a first virtual service shuttle between a first device and a second device according to a router forwarding table, wherein the router forwarding table is used for indicating a message forwarding rule based on a virtual service shuttle, and the virtual service shuttle is used for supporting bidirectional transmission of the service flow between the two devices. By means of the transmission method provided in the present application, devices can be freely connected by means of ports, the bidirectional transmission of a service flow is realized between the devices, which are connected to each other, on the basis of a virtual service shuttle, and the devices forward a message of the service flow according to a message forwarding rule based on the virtual service shuttle, which message forwarding rule is indicated by a router forwarding table, thereby realizing free connection and data transmission between the devices, and improving the flexibility of networking and data transmission between the devices."

The patent application was internationally filed on Nov. 23, 2023, under International application No.PCT/CN2023/133808.
