MUMBAI, India, Aug. 29 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517076831 A) filed by Lg Electronics Inc., Seoul, Republic of Korea, on Aug. 12, for 'transmission/reception method and device based on flexible user priority-to-access category mapping in wireless lan system.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A transmission/reception method and device based on flexible user priority-to-access category mapping in a wireless LAN system are disclosed. A method performed by means of a first station (STA) in a wireless LAN system, according to one embodiment of the present disclosure, may comprise the steps of: transmitting, to a second STA, a stream classification service (SCS) request frame including information related to user priority (UP)-to-access category (AC) (UP-to-AC) mapping; receiving, from the second STA, an SCS response frame as a response to the SCS request frame; and exchanging frames with the second STA on the basis of the information related to the UP-to-AC mapping."
