MUMBAI, India, June 6 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517046844 A) filed by Jfe Steel Corporation, Tokyo, on May 15, for 'travelling carriage, temperature measuring method, and coke oven operation method.'

The application for the patent was published on June 6, under issue no. 23/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A travelling carriage 1 travels on a travel surface in a travel area by means of a drive device 10. The traveling carriage 1 comprises: a temperature measuring device 4 for measuring a temperature of a measurement object; an image acquisition device 2 for acquiring image information about the travel surface; and a computing device 3 for detecting the measurement object from the image information. The computing device 3 adjusts the position or attitude of the temperature measuring device 4 on the basis of the position of the measurement object detected from the image information."
