MUMBAI, India, May 30 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202311079709 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges, Mohali, Punjab, on Nov. 23, 2023, for 'two wheeler vehicle securing device for transportation.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A two wheeler vehicle securing device for transportation, comprising a C-shaped expandable body 1 attached over a trailer in which vehicle is to be transported, multiple suction cups 2 establish a grip in between body 1 and a side of trailer, an artificial intelligence based camera 3 analyzing width of front tyre of vehicle for actuating a telescopically operated gripper 4 clasp tyre and pull within body 1, plurality of flaps 5 attached with each other via multiple motorized sliders 6 for expanding/contracting body 1 as means of accommodating tyre in a secured manner, a durometer 7 measures hardness of tyre for detecting inflation of tyre for actuating an inflating unit 8 to inflate tyre and a dust sensor detecting presence of dust over body 1 for actuating multiple suction unit 11 for drawing dust within a chamber installed over body 1."
