MUMBAI, India, Aug. 1 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202347051328 A) filed by Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd., Gyeonggi, Republic of Korea, on July 31, 2023, for 'twt coordination for multi-ap operation.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Methods and apparatuses for performing multi-access point (MAP) coordination. A method for an AP includes transmitting to a first STA during a TXOP in a first TWT SP based on parameters of a first TWT operation, and receiving, from the first STA, an interference notification message about interference caused by a second AP in the MAP coordinating set of APs. The method further includes transmitting, to the second AP, a MAP coordination announcement that includes an indication that the first AP has obtained the TXOP and the parameters of the first TWT operation. The method further includes receiving, from the second AP, a MAP coordination response that indicates capabilities of the second AP and determining, based on the MAP coordination response, whether to perform MAP coordination with the second AP during the TXOP or to modify the parameters of the first TWT operation based on the interference notification message."
