MUMBAI, India, Aug. 29 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441012920 A) filed by JAIN, Bangalore, Karnataka, on Feb. 22, 2024, for 'tyre traction device.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. Geetha G.
The application for the patent was published on Aug. 29, under issue no. 35/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A tyre traction device, comprises of a flexible curved plate 1 positioned on a ground surface in proximity to a stuck tyre of a vehicle, multiple rollers 2 embedded at bottom portion of plate 1 to move the plate 1, an imaging unit 3 installed on the plate 1 to detect positioning of the stuck tyre, an inflatable unit 4 arranged beneath the plate 1 and linked with a inflating unit to lift the plate 1 fir making grip with the vehicle via multiple teeth, a force sensor installed over the plate 1 to detect force applied by the vehicle while during traction of the tyre over the plate 1 and a pair of telescopic rods 5 arranged underneath the plate 1 to extend into the surface for preventing slippage of plate 1 during driving of vehicle on the plate 1."
