MUMBAI, India, Aug. 29 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202527074245 A) filed by Delta Galil Industries Ltd., Caesarea, Israel, on Aug. 4, for 'underwear with fluid-capturing fabric-zones and fabric-made protrusions.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Underwear or undergarment with fluid-capturing fabric-zones and fabric-made protrusions. An undergarment for a human wearer includes: a groin-covering fabric-region, configured to cover from beneath a groin area of the human wearer; and a set of one or more other fabric -regions, configured to cover other, non-groin, areas of the human wearer. The inwardly-facing side of the groin-covering fabric-region has fabric-made protrusions that assist in absorbing bodily fluids of the human wearer. The set of one or more other fabric -regions of the undergarment lack and exclude any such fabric-made protrusions."
