MUMBAI, India, Aug. 22 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202421009984 A) filed by Metlok Pvt. Limited, Nagpur, Maharashtra, on Feb. 14, 2024, for 'universal coating remover composition.'

Inventor(s) include Rajesh Kendhe; and Amitabh Sinha.

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 22, under issue no. 34/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to universal coating remover composition for removing one or more coats of paints, enamels, lacquers, varnish, and such coatings from metallic and non-metallic surfaces in which said composition is free from chlorinated solvents and chlorinated derivatives."
