MUMBAI, India, Aug. 29 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517074336 A) filed by Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd., Gyeonggi, Republic of Korea, on Aug. 5, for 'uplink data channel scheduling method and device for multi-panel simultaneous transmission in wireless communication system.'
Inventor(s) include Lim, Seongmok; Park, Kyoungmin; Jang, Youngrok; Ji, Hyoungju; and Choi, Kyungjun.
The application for the patent was published on Aug. 29, under issue no. 35/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present disclosure relates to a 5G or 6G communication system for supporting higher data transmission rates. Particularly, according to the disclosure, a method performed by means of a user equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system comprises the steps of: receiving, from a base station, configuration information including first configuration information for a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) and second configuration information about a first sounding reference signal (SRS) resource set and a second SRS resource set, the first configuration information including information about a multi-panel simultaneous transmission method; receiving, from the base station, first downlink control information (DCI) related to information about a first transmission configuration indicator (TCI) state and a second TCI state, which are related to the PUSCH; receiving, from the base station, second DCI for scheduling the PUSCH, the second DCI including an SRS resource set indicator field; and transmitting, to the base station, the PUSCH on the basis of the SRS resource set indicator field, wherein, if a code point of the SRS resource set indicator field indicates a first value, the first TCI state is applied to transmission of the PUSCH, if the code point of the SRS resource set indicator field indicates a second value, the second TCI state is applied to transmission of the PUSCH, and, if the code point of the SRS resource set indicator field indicates a third value, the first TCI state and the second TCI state can be applied to transmission of the PUSCH."
The patent application was internationally filed on Feb. 01, 2024, under International application No.PCT/KR2024/001557.
