MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202544021402 A) filed by Nokia Technologies Oy, Espoo, Finland, on March 10, for 'user equipment power saving.'

Inventor(s) include Majed Saad; John Harris; Silvio Mandelli; Hiromasa Umeda; Matha Deghel; and Sajad Mehrizi Rahmat Abadi.

The application for the patent was published on Sept. 26, under issue no. 39/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Systems, methods, apparatuses, and computer program products for user equipment (UE) power saving. A method may include identifying a configuration for assistance information. The assistance information may be indicative of a power amplifier efficiency of a user equipment or is indicative of a user equipment power consumption. The method may also include determining the assistance information based at least partially on the configuration. The method may further include reporting the determined assistance information to a network element."
