MUMBAI, India, June 20 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517047456 A) filed by Google Llc, Mountain View, U.S.A., on May 16, for 'using in-app gestures to implement deep links.'
Inventor(s) include Srivastava, Rupika; Paltanavicius, Adomas; and Dorelli De Abreu, Luis Fernando.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A computing device may receive, from a first software application executing at the computing device, a deep link and may determine a second application to handle the deep link. The Computing device may, in response to determining tire second software application to handle the deep link, determine one or more interactions with a user interface of the second software application to navigate the user interface of the second software application to specific content of the second software application indicated by the deep link. The computing device may perform, without user interaction, the one or more interactions with the user interface of the second software application to navigate the user interface of the second software application to the specific content of the second software application indicated by the deep link."
