MUMBAI, India, Jan. 7 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511103939 A) filed by Hcl Technologies Limited, New Delhi, on Oct. 28, 2025, for 'vacuum cleaner and skirting cleaning tool thereof.'
Inventor(s) include Jaikumar V; Sachin Kamble; Vijay Kumar Turaga; and Shivakumar Bhavi.
The application for the patent was published on Dec. 12, under issue no. 50/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A vacuum cleaner (102) and a skirting cleaning tool (108) are disclosed. The vacuum cleaner (102) includes a cleaning chamber (106). The cleaning chamber (106) includes a skirting cleaning tool (108) attached to a peripheral surface of the cleaning chamber (106). The skirting cleaning tool (108) includes one or more cleaning arms (110). The skirting cleaning tool (108) is configured to switch between a deployed position and a stowed position. In the deployed position, the skirting cleaning tool (108) is configured to engage with a skirting (104) and dislodge debris deposited over the skirting (104). In the stowed position, the skirting cleaning tool (108) is configured to disengage from the skirting (104)."
