MUMBAI, India, June 6 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202311081203 A) filed by Hero Motocorp Limited, New Delhi, on Nov. 30, 2023, for 'vehicle.'

The application for the patent was published on June 06, under issue no. 23/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The vehicle (100) comprising a body frame (102), a handle bar (109), an inner front cover member (250), a portable device holder (288) and a charging port (400). The charging port (400) is adapted to be mounted to a first cover member (202) disposed inwardly to one of a head tube (161) and a main tube (162). The charging port (400) and the portable device holder (288) are disposed in close proximity of each other in such a way that at an angle (?) formed between a first plane having the charging port (400) and a second plane having the portable device socket (304). With the present invention, a provision of charging portable device (300) is provided which is easily accessible and convenient to the rider without affecting aesthetics appeal of the vehicle (100). Also, length of a charging cable (350) is reduced."
