MUMBAI, India, Jan. 23 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202521123547 A) filed by VE Commercial Vehicles Ltd., Dhar, Madhya Pradesh, on Dec. 8, 2025, for 'vehicle load transmission via a suspension linkage.'

Inventor(s) include Ankit Desai; Tellakula Eswar; Srinivas Kurna; and Abhishek Vishwakarma.

The application for the patent was published on Jan. 23, under issue no. 04/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A suspension linkage (100) for vehicle load transmission is disclosed. The linkage (100) characterized in that a damper having an inner tube (122), an outer tube (124), a rebound spring, a piston assembly vertically slidable in inner tube (122) to compress main spring upon receiving vertical load, a piston rod connected to piston assembly and extending upwardly through a guide bush secured at upper end of inner tube (122), a guide bush and spring seat (114) configured to maintain axial alignment of piston rod and spring during compression and rebound cycles, a first suspension linkage assembly (126) configured to connect the damper (116) to spring eye (110), a second suspension linkage assembly (134) configured to connect the damper (116) with the spring seat (114), the second circular eye (138) is configured to transfers the reactive force generated inside the damper (116) into the spring seat (114) to resist squat forces."
