MUMBAI, India, Sept. 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441012488 A) filed by JAIN, Bangalore, Karnataka, on Feb. 21, 2024, for 'vehicle parking assistive device for scrapyard.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A vehicle parking assistive device for scrapyard comprises a platform 1 configured with multiple rods 2 for support to the platform 1, a pair of motorized track type wheels 3 are attached with the rods 2 for providing movement to the platform 1, an artificial intelligence based imaging unit 4 mounted on the platform 1 to determine vehicle presence, a pair of motorized lead screws 5 attached with the platform 1 to extend the platform 1, a laser sensor mapped on the platform 1 for detecting length of the vehicle, a motorized slider 6 arranged on the platform 1 for providing movement, a touch sensor installed on each of the lead screws 5 for detecting accommodation of the vehicle, actuates a motorized rack and pinion arrangement 7 coupled between the lead screws 5 and column for providing movement to the lead screws 5, a user interface for user input."
