MUMBAI, India, Nov. 14 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202547098474 A) filed by TS Tech Co. Ltd., Saitama, Japan, on Oct. 13, for 'vehicle seat and method for manufacturing vehicle seat.'

Inventor(s) include Mizoi Kensuke; and Takanohashi Hiroshi.

The application for the patent was published on Nov. 14, under issue no. 46/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Provided are: a vehicle seat capable of suppressing interference between a duct and a sensor; and a method for manufacturing the vehicle seat. This vehicle seat comprises: a seat frame (F) having left and right first side frames (11) disposed so as to be separated from each other in the left and right directions; a pressure-receiving member (30) that supports a seated person and is disposed between the left and right first side frames (11); a pad covering the seat frame (F) and the pressure-receiving member (30) and having a ventilation path therein; a blower (110); a duct (120) connecting the blower (110) and the ventilation path; and a sensor (140) capable of acquiring biological information about the seated person. The pressure-receiving member (30) has a center wire (32A) (reinforcing wire) extending in the front-rear direction. The duct (120) is disposed on one side in the left-right direction with respect to the center wire (32A), and the sensor (140) is disposed on the other side in the left-right direction with respect to the center wire (32A)."
