MUMBAI, India, March 14 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202514077810 A) filed by Toyota Jidosha Kabushiki Kaisha, Aichi, Japan, on Aug. 14, 2025, for 'vehicle structure.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A vehicle structure including a first framework module and a second framework module, the first framework module supporting a battery pack and including: a pair of side members at both end portions, in a vehicle width direction, of the first framework module; 5 and a first cross member extending between the pair of side members at substantially central portions, in the vehicle front-rear direction, of the pair of side members; the pair of side members and the first cross member being integrally formed; and the second framework module including: a second cross member; and a pair of extension portions respectively extending, in the vehicle front-rear direction, at both side portions, in the vehicle width 10 direction, of the second cross member; the pair of extension portions being joined to end portions of the pair of side members, and the second cross member and the pair of extension portions being integrally formed."
