According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present application provides a video encoding method and apparatus, a video decoding method and apparatus, a device, a system, and a storage medium. When an intra-frame prediction mode candidate list is constructed, first angle precision corresponding to the intra-frame prediction mode candidate list is firstly determined, wherein the first angle precision is used for indicating a search range of an angle prediction mode in the intra-frame prediction mode candidate list. Then, the intra-frame prediction mode candidate list is constructed on the basis of the first angle precision. Therefore, the present application avoids the loss of angle precision, improves the construction accuracy of the intra-frame prediction mode candidate list. Therefore, when prediction is performed on the basis of the accurately constructed intra-frame prediction mode candidate list, the prediction accuracy of a current block can be improved, thereby improving the video encoding and decoding effects."
