MUMBAI, India, July 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202311088501 A) filed by Sanskriti University, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, on Dec. 23, 2023, for 'walking training device for child.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. Ravi Kr. Sharma.
The application for the patent was published on July 4, under issue no. 27/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A walking training device for child comprising an elongated extendable body having a first end attached with a pair of handles 1 gripped by a child and a second end is configured with a pair of omnidirectional wheels 2 for manoeuvring body on a ground surface in view of performing walking training, a c-shaped member 3 is configured with first end to be gripped by a guardian, a camera mounted on body detecting height of child, a motorized roller 4 wrapped with a strap configured with each of handles 1 secures child's hand, a laser sensor mapped on each of handles 1 detects dimensions of child's hand, a pair of motorized clamps 5 installed with body via a pair of L-shaped telescopic rods gripping child's waist portion, and a holographic projection unit 6 mounted on member 3 guiding guardian."
