MUMBAI, India, Aug. 1 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411005325 A) filed by Chandigarh University; and Chandigarh University Technology Business Incubator, Mohali, Punjab, on Jan. 25, 2024, for 'wall crack repairing device.'

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 1, under issue no. 31/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A wall crack repairing device, includes a platform 1 configured with multiple rods 2 attached with wheel 3 for providing movement to platform 1 on surface, a LiDAR (Light Detection And Ranging) sensor for detecting presence of crack on a wall surface, and accordingly directs wheels 3 for positioning platform 1 in proximity to crack, an imaging unit 7 for determining presence of any debris inside crack, and synchronously directs a clamp 8 for extending, clamp 8ing debris and retracting to remove debris, a link 9 configured with a brush 10 for cleaning crack, an primary nozzle 6 connected with chamber 4 for dispensing paste inside crack followed by spreading of paste inside crack via brush 10, a color sensor for detecting color of wall surface and accordingly activates an secondary nozzle 11 connected with a multi-sectioned container 12 for dispensing an appropriate paint on paste to successfully repair crack."
