MUMBAI, India, Nov. 7 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411024868 A) filed by Chandigarh University; and Chandigarh University Technology Business Incubator, Mohali, Punjab, on March 27, 2024, for 'wall fixing device.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. Aditya Kumar Tiwary.
The application for the patent was published on Nov. 7, under issue no. 45/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A wall fixing device, comprises of a telescopic handle 2 with a soft padding for a user to acquire a grip onto, a container 6 attached to the rectangular plate 1 for storing a putty material and a robotic arm attached to the rectangular plate 1 having an applying plate 1 at its end for applying putty material on the wall from the container 6, a robotic link 3 attached to the rectangular plate 1, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 4 to determine if a wall surface is flat or a corner, a sensing module, an ultrasonic sensor for detecting the unwanted material and the damage on the wall surface, and a microphone 5 for receiving audio commands from the user to trigger the microcontroller."
