MUMBAI, India, July 25 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517067524 A) filed by Lg Electronics Inc., Seoul, Republic of Korea, on July 15, for 'washing machine and filter device for washing machine.'
Inventor(s) include Kim, Sunwoo; Kim, Beomjun; Cha, Seungchul; and Kim, Youngho.
The application for the patent was published on July 25, under issue no. 30/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention provides a washing machine. In addition, the present invention provides a filter device provided in the drain path of a washing machine. The filter device, according to one embodiment, comprises: a first chamber including a water inlet through which washing water is introduced; a second chamber having a water outlet for the washing water; a filter accommodated in the second chamber; and an opening allowing the first chamber and the second chamber to communicate with each other, wherein the washing water introduced through the water inlet passes through the first chamber, the opening, and the filter in said order and is discharged through the water outlet."
