MUMBAI, India, Aug. 8 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202421006833 A) filed by Tkil Industries Private Limited, Maharashtra, on Feb. 1, 2024, for 'waste heat recovery system in a cement plant.'

Inventor(s) include Patil, Abhay Ramrao; Mutchintala, Srinivasa Rao; and Amit, Narkhede.

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 8, under issue no. 32/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention provides a waste heat recovery system in a cement plant. The system comprises at least a rotary kiln line operatively connected to at least one each of a Pre Heater Boiler (1) having a pre heater building (1A), an Air Quench Cooler Boiler having a cooler building, at least one water treatment plant and at least one steam turbine genenrator. The Pre Heater Boiler (1) is integrated with the corresponding pre heater building (1A). The Air Quench Cooler Boiler is intregrated atop the corresponding cooler building."
