MUMBAI, India, Aug. 29 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441013545 A) filed by JAIN, Bangalore, Karnataka, on Feb. 24, 2024, for 'water flow stoppage system for maintenance operation.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A water flow stoppage system for maintenance operation, comprises of a cuboidal body 1 to be positioned in vicinity to a water barrier installed within a water canal, a camera 2 that is activated upon pressing of a push- button 3 for detecting exact location and dimensions of damaged portion of barrier, an inverter U-shaped is to be engaged with multiple of plates 5 positioned within body 1 for constructing a structure to cover the damaged portion, a holographic projection unit 6 to project holograms to guide the user in engaging required number of plates 5 with multiple of motorized clamp, a touch sensor for detecting presence of the plates 5 in contact with the clamps 7 for gripping the plates 5, and an electromagnetic strip 9 for joining the plates 5 to prevent leakage of water through the plates 5 to carry out repairing operations on the barrier."
