MUMBAI, India, May 1 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202621026816 A) filed by Abhyudaya Biotech Pvt. Ltd., Pune, Maharashtra, on March 7, for 'water-soluble organic soil enhancement composition with high carbon content and biostimulants plant growth regulators.'

Inventor(s) include Dr. Sahebrao Sampat Mengde; and Shweta Sahebroa Mengde.

The application for the patent was published on May 1, under issue no. 18/2026.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a novel water-soluble organic soil amendment composition designed to improve soil fertility and promote sustainable crop growth. The composition comprises at least 50% by weight of organic carbon derived from humified biomass, along with fulvic acid (2-8%), humic acid (3-10%), amino acids (5-15%) selected from glycine, glutamine, and proline, and essential micronutrients and macronutrients including nitrogen and potassium in water-soluble, plant-available forms (1-5% each). Formulated as a powder or granules, the composition readily dissolves in irrigation water or spray solutions, enabling efficient application via fertigation or foliar spray. The synergistic combination enhances nutrient uptake, stimulates microbial activity, improves soil structure, and promotes plant metabolism and stress tolerance, ultimately contributing to increased crop yield and long-term soil health. The invention is particularly suited for use in organic and regenerative farming systems as a sustainable alternative to synthetic fertilizers."
