MUMBAI, India, May 30 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202311079864 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges, Mohali, Punjab, on Nov. 24, 2023, for 'water tank re-location assistive device.'

Inventor(s) include Vineet Pandey; and Anshu Tomar.

The application for the patent was published on May 30, under issue no. 22/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A water tank re-location assistive device, comprising a pair of L-shaped elongated bodies 1 having a first and second end herein the first ends are configured with a plate 4 attached to the first and second portion of a water tank via a suction cup mapped on the plate 4 and the second ends are connected to each other via a handle that is gripped by a user to manually maneuver the tank on a ground surface, a telescopically operated gripper 2 installed on one of the body to grip the obstacle and position within a chamber installed on the body in proximity to said handle for preventing collision of the tank with the obstacles, an artificial intelligence image capturing unit 6 linked with a pre-processor installed on one of the bodies 1 to determine dust adhered over the tank."
