MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411020706 A) filed by Shobhit Institute Of Engineering & Technology, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, on March 19, 2024, for 'wearable earbuds holding device.'

Inventor(s) include Sahdev Singh; Vikas; Esheta Tyagi; and Evgeniya Zharikova.

The application for the patent was published on Sept. 26, under issue no. 39/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A wearable earbuds holding device comprises of a body 1 developed to be accommodated around a user's neck, a pair of rings 2 are configured with body 1 via a set of pneumatic links 3 that are developed for gripping wireless earbuds, a microphone 4 positioned on body 1 enables user to give voice commands for securing earbuds, a pair of cameras 5 captures images of surroundings, an artificial intelligence detects location of earbuds, a pair of motorized sliders 6 configured between links 3 and body 1 for translating and vertically aligning links 3 underneath earbuds and a pneumatic extends for accommodating rings 2 around earbuds, a laser acuity sensor 2 detects dimensions of earbuds, a motorized iris lid 7 embedded within rings 2 for gripping earbuds, a temperature sensor detects temperature of earbuds, a pair of motorized universal joints 8 for tilting rings 2 with respect to links 3."
