MUMBAI, India, June 6 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517048770 A) filed by Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd., Gyeonggi, Republic of Korea, on May 20, for 'wearable electronic apparatus.'

The application for the patent was published on June 6, under issue no. 23/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A wearable electronic apparatus according to an embodiment disclosed herein may comprise: a lens frame formed to accommodate a display member; a pair of wearable members connected to respective ends of the lens frame; at least one seating region; and at least one support structure connected to the seating region. The pair of wearable members may each include a first surface and a second surface facing the opposite direction as the first surface. The seating region may be formed on a portion of the first surface. The support structure may include a pad and a driving assembly disposed between the seating region and the pad. The support structure may include: a support surface facing the seating region; a fixed end rotatably connected to a portion of the seating region; and a moving end located on the opposite side to the fixed end. The driving assembly may be configured to move the moving end in a first axis direction relative to the seating region. When the driving assembly is operating, at least a portion of the pad can be rotated relative to the seating region, and the pad angle between the pad and the seating region can be changed."
