MUMBAI, India, Nov. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202531019352 A) filed by Siksha O Anusandhan, Bhubaneswar, Orissa, on March 4, for 'wearable gardening assistive device.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. Anshuman Jena.
The application for the patent was published on Nov. 28, under issue no. 48/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A wearable gardening assistive device comprising a conical shaped wearable member 101 to wear over the fingertip, a microphone 102 mapped over member 101 to receive input regarding assistance required, an inflatable layer 201 installed over the inner periphery of member 101 with an air compressor 202 attached with member 101 to inflate layer for gripping fingertip in a secured manner, an AI imaging unit 103 installed over member 101 and integrated with a proximity sensor to determine a distance of the ground surface from member 101, a two-axis lead screw arrangement 105 installed over the outer periphery of member 101 to provide translation to triangular shaped blades 104 configured with the member 101 for ploughing soil from the ground surface, a moisture sensor installed over member 101 to monitor the moisture level of the ground surface to determine appropriate amount of force to be applied over surface."
