MUMBAI, India, Aug. 22 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411010131 A) filed by Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, on Feb. 14, 2024, for 'wearable high rise building cleaning assistive device.'

Inventor(s) include Prashant Kumar.

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 22, under issue no. 34/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A wearable high rise building cleaning assistive device characterizes a wearable unit 1 with an integrated harness 2 to be worn by a user during wall cleaning tasks, motorized clamps 3 on harness 2 grip the supports, allowing user to descend the building safely with voice commands via microphone 4 on wearable unit 1, facilitating easy communication for descending or ascending, a roller 5 with strap 6 mapped with harness 2 assists user in ascending/descending by wrapping/unwrapping strap 6, the wearable unit 1 includes gloves 7 aided by a suction unit 8 creating negative pressure for adhering wall of building, an imaging unit 9 captures user's facial expressions for safety, an inflatable bag is integrated into wearable unit 1 to prevent injury during uncontrolled descents, a health monitoring module 10 tracks vital parameters, and an oxygen cylinder 11 connected to a venture mask 12 supplies oxygen in adverse conditions."
