MUMBAI, India, Nov. 14 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411025519 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges, Mohali, Punjab, on March 28, 2024, for 'wearable shirt sleeve holding device.'

Inventor(s) include Dr. Ramandeep Saini; Dr. Seema Rani; and Manveer Kaur.

The application for the patent was published on Nov. 14, under issue no. 46/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A wearable shirt sleeve holding device, comprises of a cylindrical hollow body 1 developed to be accommodated over folded sleeve of a shirt worn by a user, a laser acuity sensor for detecting diameter of the user's arm, an air compressor 2 for inflating an inflatable member 3 equipped at inner periphery of the body 1, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit for capturing and processing multiple images of the sleeve, a pair of motorized clippers 4 to accurately fold the sleeve to prevent formation of creases on the sleeve, an electronic valve 5 to open in view of releasing air for slightly deflating the member, a voltage regulator 7 paired with the fibers for providing a suitable voltage to the fibers."
