MUMBAI, India, Aug. 22 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517069480 A) filed by Toyota Jidosha Kabushiki Kaisha, Aichi, Japan, on July 21, for 'wireless power transmission system.'
Inventor(s) include Hashimoto, Toshiya; Maemura, Masato; Tsuge, Shogo; and Ikemura, Ryosuke.
The application for the patent was published on Aug. 22, under issue no. 34/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A wireless power transmission system according to the present invention is for performing wireless power transmission using magnetic coupling between a ground-side supply device and a traveling vehicle, and comprises a control device that controls wireless power transmission from a power transmission unit of the supply device to a power reception unit of the vehicle. The control device sets an alignment check time to be longer than a pairing time."
