MUMBAI, India, Nov. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202531019205 A) filed by Siksha O Anusandhan, Bhubaneswar, Orissa, on March 4, for 'wood block engraving device.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. Manoranjan Das.
The application for the patent was published on Nov. 28, under issue no. 48/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A wood block engraving device, comprises of a rectangular base 101 having four telescopic rods 102 attached underneath base, motorized omnidirectional wheels 103 arranged underneath the base 101 for locomotion of base, a container 104 provided on base 101 for storing wooden blocks, a pair of rectangular flaps 105 mounted horizontally on base 101 by means of oppositely installed pneumatic pushers 106 for gripping the block, an L-shaped telescopic link 107 installed on base 101 by means of a primary ball and socket joint, an engraving tool 108 configured at an end of the link 107 by means of a secondary ball and socket joint for engraving a pattern on block, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 109 installed on base 101 to determine surface contour of block."
