MUMBAI, India, Aug. 22 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411010063 A) filed by Sanskriti University, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, on Feb. 14, 2024, for 'wooden deck manufacturing device.'

Inventor(s) include Sushil Tripathi.

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 22, under issue no. 34/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A wooden deck manufacturing device, comprises of a housing 1 configured with a chamber 2 stored with multiple bamboo sticks, a touch interactive display panel 3 assembled on the housing 1 to give input details regarding a wooden deck that the user desires to manufacture, a first robotic gripper 4 arranged within the housing 1 for withdrawing the sticks and inserting a first portion of the sticks inside a ring 5 arranged within the housing 1, a laser sensor installed on the ring 5 for detecting diameter of the sticks, a motorized iris lid 6 arranged within the ring 5 for closing to grip the first portion, a telescopic pusher 7 arranged within the housing 1 for extending to push a second portion of the sticks that aids in slitting of the sticks into multiple pieces by means of multiple blades 8 arranged on the ring 5."
