MUMBAI, India, Aug. 1 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411003697 A) filed by Chandigarh University; and Chandigarh University Technology Business Incubator, Mohali, Punjab, on Jan. 18, 2024, for 'wooden log carriage assistive system.'

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 1, under issue no. 31/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A wooden log carriage assistive system comprises of a wearable component 1 worn by a user on torso region via a pair of straps 2, an ultrasonic sensor to detect dimension of user's torso region, a platform 4 positioned on a ground surface configured with wheels 5 to drag the platform 4, a camera 6 to detect dimension of wooden log, a holographic projecting unit 8 to project holograms to guide user for positioning of log on the platform 4, a pair of C-shaped members 18 configured with a pair of rods 9 to grip the wooden log, a secondary roller to unwrap a string 13 for enabling the user to engage a hook 15 with a ring 17 arranged on platform 4, a laser acuity sensor to detect dimension of hook 15 and a speaker 14 to notify the user to move in order to carry the wooden log."
