MUMBAI, India, Oct. 31 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411024062 A) filed by Sanskriti University, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, on March 26, 2024, for 'wooden planks installation device for wall.'
Inventor(s) include Sushil Kumar Tripathi; and Dr. Meenakshi Sharma.
The application for the patent was published on Oct. 31, under issue no. 44/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A wooden planks installation device for wall, comprising, a U-shaped frame 1 installed with a pair of plates 4 developed to be positioned on contact with top portion of a wall, wherein a microphone 9 is positioned on the frame 1 for enabling a user to give voice commands for activating the device, a suction unit for generating a vacuum pressure underneath multiple suction cups 5 for adhering the plates 4 on the wall, thus securing the frame 1 with the wall, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 3 for detecting exact location of the planks placed on the ground surface, a pair of motorized clamps for releasing the chains to positioning the clamps in contact with the planks, and an ultrasonic sensor positioned on the frame 1 for detecting level of the wall."
