MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411017932 A) filed by Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, on March 12, 2024, for 'wooden workpiece repairing device.'

The application for the patent was published on Sept. 26, under issue no. 39/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A wooden workpiece repairing device, comprises of a platform 1 positioned on a fixed surface, a circular disc 2 configured with a U-shaped member 3 for accommodating the wooden workpiece, a touch-enabled screen 4 to give input commands for repairing the workpiece, a camera 5 for capturing images of the workpiece, a primary robotic arm 6 for positioning an electronic nozzle 7 connected with a chamber 8 stored with an adhesive solution, a pair of sliders 11 for translating the rods 10 installed on the plates 9, a cuboidal unit 12 for applying pressure on the workpiece, a telescopically operated gripper 13 for gripping a wooden block, a chamber 8 attached with the slab 14 and stored with the wooden block, and a secondary robotic arm 15 for positioning a motorized cutter 16 for cutting the wooden block."
