MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517084553 A) filed by Nissin Prosol Co. Ltd., Kyoto, Japan, on Sept. 5, for 'workpiece retention device.'

Inventor(s) include Fujiwara Shingo; Inoue Tomohiro; and Mashimo Kazumasa.

The application for the patent was published on Sept. 26, under issue no. 39/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A workpiece retention device (1) comprising: a first tubular member (15) that is fixed to a base member (11) in a condition in which an inside surface thereof is facing an outside surface of a first retention part (123) with a first elastic member interposed therebetween; a first oscillation restricting part (21) that restricts movement of a first oscillation member (12) relative to the base member (11), by expanding the first elastic member and pressing the entire outside of the first elastic member against the inside surface of the first tubular member (15); a second tubular member (16) that is fixed to the first oscillation member (12) in a condition in which an inside surface thereof is facing an outside surface of a section retention part (133) with a second elastic member interposed therebetween; and a second oscillation restricting part (22) that restricts movement of a second oscillation member (13) relative to the first oscillation member (12), by expanding the second elastic member and pressing the entire outside of the second elastic member against the inside surface of the second tubular member (16)."
